Jun Yin received his Ph.D. degree in Physics under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Cesare Soci in the Division of Physics and Applied Physics at Nanyang Technology University (NTU) in 2016. Then he joined Prof. Jean-Luc Bredas’ group as a Postdoctoral Fellow at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). After that, he continued the research work as a Research Scientist with Prof. Osman M. Bakr and Prof. Omar F. Mohammed at KAUST. In July 2022, he joined the Department of Applied Physics at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University as an Assistant Professor (conferred Title of Presidential Young Scholar). He was ranked as the world's top 2% most-cited scientist by Stanford University in 2022 and 2023.
